Andrew

The One Who Brings Others

Invitation

Scripture (NIV)

He first found his brother Simon and told him, 'We have found the Messiah.'
John 1:41 (NIV)

Message

Andrew is remembered for introductions, not sermons. Faithfulness often looks like a quiet 'come and see' rather than a stage.

Practice

Think of one person who came to mind while reading this. Send them a short, kind message today.

Prayer

Lord, make me generous with what I have found. Let my life be a doorway, not a wall. Amen.

Lived out

Short practices that fit Andrew's virtue of invitation.

A practice to try

The smallest obvious thing

When I cannot work out God's plan for the next five years, I stopped waiting for the whole map. I do the smallest obvious right thing in front of me. Send the message, pay the bill, apologise. Direction has always shown up in motion, never while I was standing still waiting for certainty.

TRY TODAY

Do the one small right thing you have been putting off, before the day ends.

Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much.

Luke 16:10 (NIV)
